Hostel Giraffe

Is the Giraffe head and shoulders above the rest? Well, it's certainly up there with the the best of them. We admit we've got a bit of a soft spot for this part of town, but the Giraffe marries fine location with equally fantastic facilities. It's got a fresh modern feel and the staff are bursting with enthusiasm for the city. Look out for parties in the adjoining bar, which is destined for some legendary exploits with the coming of the season. our first impression was the friendly staff, the neat, modern atmosphere and colorful decorating, and the cute dog. the rooms are clean, the bathrooms are okay, we liked that the shower stalls were private and spacious. and of course, there was the pub... the bartender plays awesome music and there was this really, really drunk aussie that we dubbed "the wallaby". he had to be thrown into a cold shower and taken away by the constable for alcohol poisoning. our prof says he was a boring aussie because he didn't take his pants off. there's a decent kitchen and internet connection. all around, it's a great place to stay, but watch out for cracked out guys with raspy voices coming in early in the a.m. asking for steve.

Excellent hosts, rooms, conditions, staff and a free beer on entry - got to love that! Very laid back atmosphere and clean! Fantastic at £8 a night!

Best Hostel in krakow, poland europe!! Brand spanking new!! Best breakfast i hand in Poland!! Staff were unbelievably helpful and friendly!! Couldnt fault the place. Made the stay in Krakow so much better.

The hostel is fantastic!! Great crew, great location, exellent breakfast... a cousy atmosphere, you will feel at home, you'll never want to leave this place...and actually you'll want the weather to be awful just to spend more time in here!!!!

A great and friendly staff, Clean and spacious rooms, Good kitchen facility nice bar with a good atmosphere. The best Hostels I've been to in my 10 month long world trip.

this is the best hostel ever! Free internet, breakfast, laundry. Hostel is brandnew (3 weeks) looks so comfortable and luxurious. And the hostel even includes a bar with cherry vodka! Best option to stay when you are in Cracow.
