A welcome addition to the mid-range realm, Hotel Amber is a fresh, elegant option just beyond the Planty Gardens, the ring of parkland that encircles the Old Town. There are eighteen rooms, and these come in singles, doubles and suites. It's also possible to add an extra bed to the doubles. Location is superb, as it's no more than a five-minute walk to the Main Square. Amber has a very upbeat feel to it and our hunch is that it will soon be an 'in the know' choice for choosy travellers. It's light, bright and modern - all in all, well worth considering as a mid-range choice. An amber treasure.

Amber Hotel

friendly front desk staff, early check in, only the breakfast was a bit poor.

We had really great stay at this very nice hotel. Room was perfect with 26 inch telly and good selection of channels. Krakow was terrific and we would like to come back as soon as possible.

Good breakfast but dining room a little on the small side. Charming interiors.
Would definitely stay here again.

Our family was warmly greeted by the staff upon our arrival. They brought bottled juice and board games for the children. The beds were very comfortable with several pillows to choose from. There were even slippers in the bathroom. Fabulous hotel and great location. We only had 1 day and night in Krakow and staying there helped us to get the most out of the sights. Great hotel!

Friendliness and helpfulness of all of the staff. The room although a bit small had a very comfortable double bed and was spotlessly clean.

The room was small but of a high standard and very clean and tidy. I would recommend this hotel for a short stay.

I stayed at Hotel Amber in August for 2 nights. The hotel is fantastically central which is a great plus. The main difference though were the receptionists. They were extremely helpful with maps, tours, directions. My room was basic but nice with very large bathroom. The only downside of the hotel was the variety of food offered for lunch or dinner. The options were very limited and I think they should broaden their hot food menu. Overall, great value for money.

The bedrooms are small but comfortable and we were lucky to have one with a balcony. Hotel is in great location just a few minutes walk from the main square

The Amber hotel was very comfortable, the staff without exception was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfy, clean and reasonable priced hotel.

On a quiet street by a university building, the location was very close to the main Square (about 2 minute walk) and the train station (7 or 8 mins), and the room was nicely furnished and comfortable.

just stayed last weekend for 5 nights,
the rooms are modern and very clean.all the staff where very helpfull and friendly,
the location of this hotel is excellent less than 5 mins from the main square and the prices are very good for this location and the services provided.free safe and laundery if needed and get you a taxi to anywhere and didnt mind a late night return if you keep it quiet.
we are definetly returning to krakow in september and will try to get this hotel.it really made the holiday for us.

Put my friends up in the Hotel Amber on a recent visit. Not a bad place at all. Standard midrange affair (complete with MFI furnishing) but handy location at very reasonable prices. My friends said the staff were very nice at the Amber too, and that was my impression when booking them in to the hotel.

Clean, comfortable, affordable and close to the centre. Would consider it again and recommend it to friends and family.
Staff is really nice!
