It IS possible to stay in an Old Town hotel and not bankrupt yourself in the process. Hotel Mikolaj, which opened in the summer of 2006, provides a solid choice for accommodation in Cracow's Old Town. They have renovated an attractive old townhouse a short stroll from the Main Market Square. Guests can choose between ten rooms, which include doubles, twins, triples and suites. All rooms are equipped with TV, radio and telephone. Down in the medieval cellars you can dine on traditional Polish dishes and some international classics too. Banquets and business meetings can also be laid on.

Location is very convenient. Walking distance from train station and all other attractions. Staff are very helpful.

It was good Hotel, but the location was fantastic. I enjoyed Paparazzi restaurant just on the opposite side of the road and a beautiful jewelery shop just next to the Hotel. I would like to recommend this Hotel to everyone.

Really cute hotel on a charming little street - everything about our room was adorable :) We even dined in the restaurant one night, not bad at all!

The location of this hotel was great. The rooms are a little outdated and a few items needed attention, but on the whole very good.

We had to queue for breakfast the second day, which was not great (as you have plans!) but this was due to the size of the room than anything else.
