 | | "Has a pretty cool rooftop bar. Now that the sun is beginning to show its face again, we should be able to enjoy it to the full again. Good food too. " | Sam Troughton United Kingdom Feb.25.2010 Overall rating 4/5 |
 | | "Pretty good. Fantastic castle views. Shouldn't really complain as we had a fab time, but sense that with a few small touches this one could really be a showstopper. A hip interior designer could put it in the 5star category. Still, not everyone needs glam to the max so a good deal" | Nathan Chorley United Kingdom Feb.18.2009 Overall rating 4/5 |

 | | "Have just got back from a fantastic 4 days at this hotel. Out of our party of 17, I didn't hear any complaints. Our room had a small glass balcony and overlooked the river to the front and the castle to the left. There were tea & coffee making facilities and a hair dryer in the bathroom. The restaurant stayed open for us until we had finished our meal, which I think was about 11pm. The roof terrace, with fantastic views, was open every time we went up there, some lunch times and early evening. They did run out of eggs one morning at breakfast, but overall I think it offered very good value for money in a great location and I would definately recommend it." | Trev & Jacky Cox United Kingdom May.08.2008 Overall rating 4/5 |
 | | "Luckily we didn't have any of the problems of the previous couple. We found the setting a winner. Rooms spic and spin if not wonderfully imaginative.
Enjoyed being next to the castle. " | Michael Wareham United Kingdom Feb.20.2008 Overall rating 4/5 |
 | | "Stayed here in April this year, while the hotel is very nice, my first impressions are that they need to improve on customer service issues. The first room we were given overlooked a dirty brick wall.... not what we were expecting at all, and the windows did not open, not good for my health. There was no offer of a smoking/non smoking room, so I had to go outside the building as the roof terrace was not always open.... the bar was not open while we were there and restaurant closes at 10pm, so no chance of a drink near to home, in fact the best place I found was the Irish bar, normally a place I do not use while abroad.... I also feel that there should be at least a hairdryer in each rooms, we had to request one, and they were not too keen to lend one, and, no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. We ended up in a twin rather than a double room, which had a nice view over the river, I was not prepared to stay in a room with no openings to the windows, had a poor experience like this in Amsterdam where I ended up ill through no fresh air available,The hotel however is lovely if they can iron out a few of these issues, then I would recommend it, but most of my friends would not welcomed the fact that they could not have a smoke in their room if they wished," | ann baker Ireland Jun.29.2007 Overall rating 2/5 |
