"Stayed here in April this year, while the hotel is very nice, my first impressions are that they need to improve on customer service issues. The first room we were given overlooked a dirty brick wall.... not what we were expecting at all, and the windows did not open, not good for my health. There was no offer of a smoking/non smoking room, so I had to go outside the building as the roof terrace was not always open.... the bar was not open while we were there and restaurant closes at 10pm, so no chance of a drink near to home, in fact the best place I found was the Irish bar, normally a place I do not use while abroad.... I also feel that there should be at least a hairdryer in each rooms, we had to request one, and they were not too keen to lend one, and, no tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. We ended up in a twin rather than a double room, which had a nice view over the river, I was not prepared to stay in a room with no openings to the windows, had a poor experience like this in Amsterdam where I ended up ill through no fresh air available,The hotel however is lovely if they can iron out a few of these issues, then I would recommend it, but most of my friends would not welcomed the fact that they could not have a smoke in their room if they wished," | ann baker Ireland Jun.29.2007 Overall rating 2/5 |
