Polanski Apartment

|
This is a lovely, spacious apartment opposite the celebrated Old Theatre. You'll be waking up to the prospect of the theatre's tremendous art nouveau facade each morning - a perfect way to kick off the day. The Main Market Square is just a three minute walk away, and several first class museums and galleries are located on the square below you. In short, you're onto a winner. The flat itself is on the second floor (European system!) of a typical Old Town kamienica (townhouse). Your home from home has 55 square metres, including a kitchen annex and a bathroom with shower. By coincidence, Roman Polanski's family used to live in the apartment for many years. |

The floors were warped and rough. Like there was a fire or flood that destroyed them Never refinished. Bring slippers. The building is amazing. no blackout curtains.
