Why not branch off from the norm and set yourself up in an old nobleman's castle? The Zamek Korzkiew is located in picturesque countryside just outside Cracow, and the interiors have been tastefully renovated to combine Old World style with modern convenience. There is excellent hiking and cycling available in the nearby Ojcow National Park, whilst Cracow itself is a 15 minute taxi ride away. There are five chambers to choose from (480 zloty per night with breakfast), each with a mix of antique and modern furnishings and lavish bathrooms. The ambience should feel more authentic than most as the owner is himself a Polish nobleman.

Zamek Korzkiew

this castle is beautiful, small and cosy, quite and green area.

Wonderful place, would like to stay there forever. Kids were super impressed:). Nearby Park Ojcowski was great for walks.

Even better in Springtime... Our Syrokomla chamber was fantastic, breakfast plentiful and varied. Really happy with our stay.

This place is so beautiful in winter and the fireplace that we had in our room, oops.. chamber, kept us warm and cosy. Would recommend for a romantic weekend away:)

The experience not to be missed if you are in Poland. I've stayed in the real castle for the first time in my life. We enjoyed a chamber, food, friendly stuff. The only disadvantage would be that there is not many restaurants around, but then- it is a perfect place for long romantic walks.

Very special place in very serene surroundings. We stayed for couple of nights there and much preferred week time, when it was quiet. Weekends are a little busy round Ojcow area and too many cars around for our liking. However, we had beautiful double level chamber. Very romantic and the breakfast was outstanding, staff was great too.

Friends got married here, and I had a good chance to have a snoop around. Really a little world unto itself. And a beautiful one at that. This is the way forward for country house hotels in Poland. As if communism never happened. Looks like another wing is being built at the moment. Magical.

I booked this lovely place as my wedding anniversary with FreeBookers.com. they were so helpful- they organised all the tours and the taxi pick up for me!

The hotel itself was very clean and the staff was very helpful. I enjoyed the stay and would love to come back. It is just a little far from Cracow. Would recommend to everyone.

What a wonderful place. Certainly deserving of the fairy-tale epithet. Charmingly decorated chambers, and big baths to relax in. Lovely views from the windows and a colossal breakfast to set you up for the day. Warm but discreet service. A winner.

We were bowled over by this one. Especially with the snowy finish! Really felt like kings here. Big, spacious chambers with chunky, ye olde style doors. Lots of antiques. Tasty breakfast, huge portions. Very romantic....!

The rating says it all - 5 out of 5! If we could give it more we would!!

What an incredible place! It was a bit of a leap into the unknown but we were delighted we took the leap. Very atmospheric castle with exquisite furniture. Epic breakfasts. Large bathrooms. Staff charming. Must surely be unique in Poland. We'd go back at the drop of a hat. Wonderful.

Very romantic place!!! My boyfriend and I have stayed there only one night but will remember it for ever. We stayed in Syrokomla apartment and that was beautiful. There is a fireplace in the apartment and you can light it yourself. We had nice walks in the Park and to the church. In the morning we were served a hearty breakfast. The staff was really helpful, especially Mr. Piotr and Mrs. Justyna. The trip takes you only 15 min from Krakow city but it is worth it. I highly recommend this place!!!

The place is really unique and first class, I had my wedding reception there. 15 mins taxi ride is stretched though. More like 30, at least.

This is just an amazing place. In the snow, it looks like it is stright out of a fairy tale. Lovely walks in the forests around, and the accommodation itself is first class.
