In this case it really is a stone's throw, Indeed, if you were one of those splendid South American flying squirrels, you could glide into the gardens that fringe the Old Town in two seconds flat. Karmelicka was Cracow's grandest nineteenth century avenue, and it's now enjoying a complete Renaissance. This pension at the beginning of the street offers reasonably priced accommodation for singles, doubles, triples and quadruples. Guests have access to a kitchen and bathroom. |

great place to stay, we went in jan 09 ( my second visit ) it was snowing outside and minus 3 but apartments were so well heated we had window open throughout our 4 night stay, breakfast is brought to your room for you ( kitchenette next door ) consists of fruit, bread, pate & yoghurt. too much to eat . staff were very friendly and spoke good english, great tram service right outside the front door. room very clean and very very warm. if you go you have to visit the bar at the end of the road ( they sell lager in huge tubes) and the coffee shop next door puts starbucks to shame. we are going back again this year and will be stopping at these apartments, 1 mins walk from main square . Brilliant
