Hotel Wit Stwosz

Wit Stwosz is an apt name for this fine Krakow hotel. It was he who created the spectacular altar-piece in St. Mary's Church, just around the corner from here. The hotel itself - is owned by the Church, and it has become something of a well-kept secret for in-the-know travellers. Here you can find classic European style combined with modern creature comforts - all in a stylish old townhouse right in the heart of the Old Town. Rooms come in singles, doubles and triples, and all come with satellite T.V and well-kept bathrooms. A spacious suite is also available.

Hotel has a very nice location and this is the biggest plus, it wasn't even so loud like I have expected.

The biggest positive is the location, very close to the Main Square, however from that reason it is quite loud in the night. In general I would recommend that hotel, simple with reasonable prices and good breakfast.

Location is perfect for the exploring the city, only the rooms weren't convincing for me.

This hotel is one place a tourist should not miss. Beside the incredible location, the staff cou;ld not be more gracious, ready to plesse you, pleasant--any where.

This hotel must have one of the best locations in Krakow, practically adjacent to the Rynek Glowny square!!

Simple , but satisfactory. Great location and good for budget. Will be back in December!

The Wit Stwosz Hotel was a really good value for the money, and I can't fault this place at all. We'll definitely stay here next time in Krakow!

The Airport is 70z away (about £15) and i recommend a taxi to get to the airport. We booked a mini bus via the hotel (someone called erik) and basically to cut a long story short had us in a police station 1.5 hours before we were flying demanding 200 extra pounds off us!!!. we got robbed and the police just agreeded with what ever he was saying. Taxi's are your best bet.

The hotel thou is very good value for money and kept clean and tidy. (the cleaners are tasty aswell ;-) )

Very nice hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful. Just a warning it is situated next to some sort of music school so musical instruments do flow threw the air into your room, i have yet to decide if this is a good or a bad thing.

We stayed 3 nights in this very pleasant, centrally located hotel in August 2005. By UK standards, this hotel is superb for the price. The top floor has reduced rates. Can highly recommend.
