This is an exlcusive joint, full of character and located right in the middle of the Old Town. Its exclusivity comes as a result of the limited number of guests who can be accommodated: there are only six rooms here - each with a very distinct and charming character. Various sizes, views, and decorative touches make each room an attraction in its own right. Between the interesting architectural features and constant reminders of history (such as portions of the original Gothic construction from the 13th century) you might spend a day touring your own room. Simultaneously woven into this intricate fabric of yore are all the modern amenities your heart desires: TVs, refrigerators, internet access, and heated bathroom floors, to name a few. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms and prices range from 120 ZL per night for one person, and 170 ZL for two. Visitors who stay longer than 3 nights will enjoy a 10% discount. Certainly a unique and memorable place to stay. Ask about the 'Devil's Paw Print.'

Just come back from a 4 night break at the Trecius. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the lovely city of Cracow. The rooms were spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and all very individual - we stayed in the Gothic room with its lovely brick arches - even above the wc! We went for the full breakfast with a vast array of meats and cheeses and lovely fresh rolls plus unlimited coffee. Its location is perfect just off Florianska and a couple of minutes walk to the main square. For location and value for money it can't be beaten. This was my second visit to Cracow and I would definitely consider staying here again.

This is a lovely hotel with excellent 24/7 service. The owner and the shift managers went out of their way to help us during and after our 4-day stay. The beds are comfortable; the rooms are spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. There's plenty of hot water, excellent tourist advice, and breakfast to purchase if you like. We enthusiastically recommend this hotel to anyone wanting friendly service and the perfect location in Krakow.

Just to say a big 'Thank you' to all who made our stay most comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Trecius, as it is such a lovely place and in superb location! It was like returning home after day's sightseeing. I have already recommended Trecius to my friends and will always try to stay there myself should I visit Krakow again. Big thanks again, especially to Monika for her welcoming smile and help.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Pensjonat Trecius. Michal, Justyna, and the entire staff are superb! Everyone is very helpful. Great care is given to each guest. I felt as though I was family. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. The location is one block from St. Mary's Cathedral and the Market Square. It is on a quiet street just steps away from Florianska Street. What a great location!! What a great value!!!! Thank you for making my stay in Cracow so wonderful. I will always remember the Trecius fondly. When I return to Cracow, I would not even consider staying anywhere else. You just can't do better than the Trecius.

We stayed 7 nights in this wonderful place in the heart of Cracow and we had a great time...ask for room nr.2, very spacious and romantic...a real suite for a price that can't be beaten. Pension Trecius is echt een aanrader!

Great value! Location was perfect..a few steps from the Rynek, but still very quiet. Furniture and decoration absolutly nice. One of the best room we ever had...and I was just to the New York New York in Las vegas.

I have stayed twice at Trecius; first with my family in August 2004 and then alone the following September. Trecius is a real bargain located in the heart of Krakow's Old Town. The staff is friendly and helpful. One could not ask for a more convenient location only minutes from the town square and St. Mary's Cathedral as well as to many foreign consulates. It is located right off of Florianska Street with all of its amenities. A Bankomat is located nearby as is an excellent pastry shop. The rooms are very clean and well appointed with all modern conveniences including high speed internet connections. When I return to Krakow I will be sure to stay at Trecius again.
