Affiliated with the Karmel Hotel, the Karmel Apartment is a modern flat offering hotel-quality accommodation at a very reasonable price. Up to four people can stay in the apartment which boasts a lounge with two sofas, TV and DVD player; a bathroom with bath and shower attachment, bidet and WC; and a kitchen with adjoining eating area. Don't get too comfortable inside though, because you'll want to get out and explore the atmospheric environs of Kazimierz, the Old Jewish District. Old bookshops, sleepy cafes and decrepid synagogues make this one of the most charming areas of Krakow.
