Longstanding favourite Niebieski Art Hotel & Spa Niebieski underwent a major revamp in 2010, extending its premises and unveiling a snazzy spa. The interiors have had a trendy make-over too, giving the hotel a more youthful feel. Other perks include underground parking and the new restaurant Vanilla with panoramic views. The hotel is a little outside the centre, but this is compensated for by the riverside setting (many rooms look left onto Wawel Hill). In summer you can stroll along the riverbank into town (the Castle is about a ten minute stroll). There's plenty of panache at the Niebieski, with 38 doubles and 2 spacious apartments.

Niebieski Art Hotel & Spa

This hotel wasn't my first choice but as it was very difficult to find anything available - we got to Niebieski and it turned out to be a very positive surprise!

A little bit off the beaten track, but the communication with the centre very good . Excellent standard of food in the hotel restaurant.

We were very impressed. It's on the Vistula River and about a 20/30 minute walk to Old Town and about 20 to Wawel Castle. The walk was very pleasant just by the River's Bank. Extremely helpful front desk staff. Very clean room and good breakfast.

Not quite the walking distance to town, but the decor & spa facilities make up for it!Would come back again.

I had a room with the view to the river and I have to admit that it was excellent choice. Beautiful view, quite with very good service.

Loved the spa. A bit far from the centre so you have to rely on cabs, but overall good value.

We were here a couple of years ago. Now they're extending it into quite a large hotel. Still as high standards as ever though and great to be by the river.

Not exactly bang central, but pretty walk along the river. Some days we took the tram which got us in in about 3 minutes. Good hotel though, suited our needs well. Excellent restaurant which was a nice surprise.

Absolutely great view from our room, we were breathless. Stayed two nights in November, and despite the chilly weather our room was warm and cosy.

a very nice, comfortable & clean hotel, with a short lovely walk along the river path into town. the service was friendly and the restaurant offered great food, at fantastic value. received really helpful advice on places to visit (and places not to visit as lone female!) and reception organised a tour for me.
