"I stayed at this hotel in July 2003. The lobby is small and smoky. The room was up many flights of creaky stairs. There is no air conditioning, but my room did have a tiny (amybe 5 inches) electric fan. The room was decorated in orange and gold (yikes) and it had a double bed, and an odd single. The beds were old, and sunken. The private bath (rare in this hotel) was pleasant, and very new. The surroundings were noisy, because of the train station, and the constant construction sounds in the hotel. The TV was about 35 years old. I never saw a single person in the bar or restaurant during my week there. It was VERY expensive ($189 US/night!!!), and not worth the cost. The walk to Old Town was pleasant." | pmfmpls United States Jul.11.2006 Overall rating 1/5 |
