Our hats are off to anyone who can rescue a historic building from crumbling away into oblivion. And the owner has done more than that, he has breathed life into an entire complex of old buildings, replete with an idyllic stretch of parkand. The hotel is located behind the main body of this nineteenth century manor house, and there are 41 rooms in singles, doubles and triples as well as three suites. All come with a bathroom, as well as satellite television and a mini-bar. Set in several hectares of parkland, and with a restaurant located in a charming old granary, this makes an elegant and interesting alternative to staying in the old town.
