Batory takes its name from King Stefan Batory - the King who presided over one of Poland's most glittering eras. We trust that Hotel Batory, open since 2000, will provide you with a congenial base from which to enjoy your own reign over the city. You'll find cosy, understated accommodation, with an emphasis on freshness and cleanliness. Hotel Batory makes a special point of using unpainted, fresh pine furniture to help allergy sufferers, and non-smokers will find an especially warm welcome. There are twenty six doubles and three triples, each with their own bathroom, television, and internet access, so you can keep friends and family abreast of your adventures. Batory is a pleasant family-run hotel a few minutes walk from the Old Town.

Hotel Batory

The cost was reasonable, the food was excellent plenty of choice for continental breakfast.

It took us about 10-15 minutes to walk to the Main Square. The rooms are tidy, well decorated, good shower. Breakfast not the best though:(
We found fantastic second-hand Sunday market just down the road from the hotel.

We found that the hotel was quiet and in an excellent location with the Main Square, Railway, Bus Station and the Jewish Quarter. beds were comfortable and the rooms very clean. Good value for money I would say.

The Room was ideal for me nice and spacious and spacious bathroom. The hotel is situated next to the hospital, so sometimes we could hear the ambulance cars passing by.

All staff spoke good English which was helpful. It would have been nice if we could have had tea/coffee facilities in our room

It's not exactly "royal" but the price was good and once you figure out the buses it's quite easy to get into town and get around. Recommended if you're on a budget!

Very nice standard for the (reasonable) price - enjoyed the TV as well, though the wife wouldn't let me watch too much! It's not exactly in the centre but easy enough to find your way around, and the staff are friendly and gave us your lovely Cracow Life maps - very helpful indeed!!

wonderful clean hotel! we had room 33 with its own patio and balcony too! lovely staff- very pleasant and helpful.so pleased to have found it! Via internet and web sites.Hotel taxi service to and from airport/hotel was very hair raising, but the driver was very competant and friendly. 15/20 mins walk from town. ambulance station across the road always very busy, but you soon get used to the noise. zoltys and polish money are readily accepted, though euros and credit cards are not very popular at all.fabulous city, very safe, very laid back and we cannot to wait to visit again and obviously stay at the batory hotel of course!

It was very, very nice indeed. LCD TV with BBC world service in the room. Rooms have electronic safes in, extremely clean bathrooms, cosy lounge area. The staff are kind and helpful. Continental breakfast to set you up for the day. Krocow tours(auswitch, salt mines etc) go directly from hotel. A pint is about a quid and its a nice walk into the centre. Would recommend....

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Hotel very clean and well equipped. Bedrooms very warm with phone, tv, safe, etc. Restaurant excellent - great food, very cheap. Service excellent too. Breakfast very good - good range of meat, cheese, etc. and gorgeous bread! Excellent location for Main Square, Jewish area, etc. all about 10 minute walk and also convenient for bus/train stations (about 15/20 minutes on foot). No complaints at all - very comfortable and welcoming hotel and excellent value as well.
