Hotel Demel

A well-run and fully-equipped hotel at a reasonable price, Hotel Demel is a family-run business that has shied away from the bustle of the city centre, in favour of the quieter suburbs north of Cracow. Still, it is only about ten minutes from the Main Market Square by taxi, and offers very good value for money. Hotel Demel has 58 rooms (2 of which are fully-equipped for disabled guest), a whole floor of the hotel for non-smokers, a recreation complex on-site, car rental facilities, and tourist agency. With its guarded carpark and easy access from the road network, Hotel Demel is an especially good choice if you plan to drive to Cracow.

"I really like Demel. The people are great, and the tram is right down the street. Plus, it does a traveler good to see a little non-touristy Krakow. The walk to town center is really great if you have the time. Can't wait to go back."

"A very pleasant, relaxed and friendly modern hotel. Good Polish style buffet breakfasts. Cosy bar under the hotel ideal for a drink before going out or when coming back. Slightly out of the City Centre but only 100 metres from the busy Bronowice tram route. Taxis from Krakow city centre at night were only 12-15 Zl. Would recommend this hotel if you want a functional business stay in Krakow but not if you intend to spend all your time in the City Centre."
