RT Hotel Monopol

"We were booked in the Monopol but were promply sent to the sister hotel, Rezydent, as our room had been 'flooded'. The Rezydent was not up to the standard of the Monopol and not where we would have chosen to stay. We have learned this is common practice with this chain of hotels. They book you in the Monopol and then ship you out to their less popular hotels upon arrival - be warned."

"Centrally located hotel with friendly staff. Twin bedded room exceptionally small, it was more like a single room occupancy. Traffic noise at back of hotel quite annoying from coaches/taxis/motorcycles but apart from that excellent value for money. Poland is a beautiful city with wonderful people and i would definately visit again and stay at the Monopol."

"Rooms very small but clean infact our room was more like a single than a double! The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful,the breakfast good and the location perfect for sightseeing."

"Warm,comfortable,clean,great location, friendly,superb showers and the hotel will arrange airport transfers. Rooms are small but that is the norm in Krakow, so I am told!. Breakfast could bebefit from more hot food. Would stay there again."

"Decent accommodation at a decent price. Location is pretty good. This hotel is not the sort of place that travel magazines (or anyone for that matter) will go overboard about, but it is clean and comfortable. And that's just about that."

"A really lovely hotel. Very clean, and rooms very comfortable. Excellent shower. The breakfast was most enjoyable with good choice. The location is great, very central, easy walking distance to the main square. Would recommend."
