This new addition to Cracow's hotel scene aims to fill a gap in the market - for comfortable accommodation at great value right in the heart of the historic Old Town. Globtroter is a high-standard conversion of a traditional courtyard annexe which offers 9 rooms and 3 apartments each with private bathroom, television and telephone, at exceptionally favourable prices. It is a combination sure to make this a popular place to stay. Friendly staff, fluent in English, are genuinely eager to make visitors really welcome.

Globtroter

I consider the Globtroter to be one of Krakow best kept secrets! It's a fantastic hotel/hostel exceeding all of my expectations in terms of price, value for money, cleaness, location, security and friendliness of staff. It's an excellent place which I visit time and time again and I feel comfortable encouraging friends and colleagues to do likewise when they visit Krakow. In summary, the Globtoter its an excellent place, which makes the traveller/s feel like home.

stayed here in January for 3 nights on the recommendation of my son who had stayed there on 2 previous occasions.Excellent location being a 10 minute walk from the central railway station.Located in a square just off the main town square but not disturbed at all by any night life.Room was in the courtyard-basic but very comfortable and WARM!!. Plenty of eating places and bars on the square. Will definately stay there again, when in Krakow

I've stayed at Globtroter twice now and would recommend it to anyone visiting Krakow! It's got a really nice atmosphere, lovely staff and fantastic location. They don't do breakfast (or other meals) but you don't really need it as there are loads of nice, cheap restaurants and cafes all around, including a great place for breakfast and lunch next door.

The Globtroter was a brilliant hotel. The staff were friendly and very informative and helpful. The room was excellent, cosy and clean, the shower large. The location was excellent, right near main square. On xmas day Piotr brought cake to the guests which was very nice. They could not do enough for you. Small hotel, so a personal touch. Really good.
Only thing i would have liked was a dressing table and mirror that was higher. The quality of information in the internet room looked very good also. Thanks to Globtroter.

Highly impressed with the Globtroter. Clean and comfortable rooms, good-sized bathrooms and very friendly & helpful staff. If I stayed much more central to the Old Town, I'd have to book something in the Sukiennice itself!

We found this guest house through Rick Steve's Eastern Europe. Although it was a little difficult to locate because you first go through a building's hallway, and there is no signage for the guest house outside, to get to it. Then we discovered a lovely courtyard leading to the guest house. The location is great and we had a wonderful time roaming old town Krakow. The staff members were friendly and helpful with suggestions. Overall a great value!

We had a thoroughly enjoyable time in Krakow thank to the Globetrotter. The guesthouse was so close to the centre that it made it very easy for my mum( with a hip replacement) to get around comfortably. The guest house was clean, warm and comfortable. Staff gave us a list of recommended restaurants etc which were very reasonably priced too!

My friend and I went to Poland for part of our vacation. We stayed at Globtroter and were blown away by how cute and clean the place was, and how wonderful the staff was. The location was fantastic, we could not have asked for anything better. I cannot wait to visit again, and will be staying at Globtroter and advising everyone I know to make this the first place on their list to reserve a room at! If I could give it a 25 instead of just a 10, I would!

Fourth time at the Globtroter.
Still the same warm welcome and great value for money. Approx £16 per person per night.
Rooms are comfortable with nice big bathroom and TV. Only change from last visit is that you now have to pay 2zl (about 40p) for extra tea/coffee, first 2 are free.
The thing that makes this place for me is the value for money and location, being only 2 minutes from the main square.

We travel on a budget and were thrilled with the Globtroter. There were four of us...two couples and after a day of sightseeing we were able to wind down with a drink outside our rooms. The location was outstanding. We walked everywhere and saw the sights in the Old Town, Wawal Castle, and the Jewish section in two full days. The actual rooms were nice and spacious, the bathroom and shower very nice. We felt safe with someone at the desk and a locked door in the entryway. The employees were courteous and very helpful. The only negative was that they did not include breakfast but I do not know where they could have done that. There was a coffee pot in the room and many choices to eat breakfast around town.
Krakow was charming and if we get to return we will book the Globtroter.

Comfortable hotel. Convenient location. Friendly staff. No breakfast on premises but a good one can be obtained at the cafe opposite. I have one criticism: the hotel has an excellent policy of no noise between 10pm and 8am but they don't do enough to publicise or enforce this. A group of Italians had an animated discussion on the communal stairs after midnight. Other than that, it's the best value for the money of the hotels I've stayed in during 17 trips to Krakow.

My previous review of the Globtroter after visiting Krakow for the first time a few years ago, indicated that if and when I ever returned to Krakow I would be hoping this wonderful guesthouse would have a room for me again! Well it did. I have just returned and wish, once again, to broadcast my appreciation to all @Globtroter for their welcoming kindness and impressive efficiency. It was just great being there again - and in my same room! To anyone reading this review - and contemplating a visit to this splendid city - look no further than Globtroter if you would like to be located right in the heart of the Old Town....within walking distance of so many of the rich treasures available to the exploring traveller - although public transport is accessed very close by. The road Globtroter is located in is also home to a few very inexpensive restaurants, frequented by locals and providing great breakfasts and other meals - including excellent local fare.

This August, I took a trip to Cracow, Poland and I stayed at the Globtroter Guest House. I had just come from Lviv, Ukraine, and I found the hotel without a problem. I was surprised at how many tourists were in the city, but the guest house, which is just a little bit off the main square was quiet and peaceful.

My room itself was quite nice, the bed was comfortable, and the water was hot. This is a really great place to say due to its proximity to the sites, and also for the easy access out of old town to hit some cheaper restaurants and convenient stores. What really made the stay was the staff they were very helpful and hospitable. When I go back to cracow I wont stay anywhere else. Thanks again

I stayed at Globtroter from 19-21 September 2011. I had a great time. Excellent guidance on sight seeing and local eating and drinking places, very centrally located place to stay, very clean facilities. Peter, Rafael and Matthew ensured that my stay was enjoyable and memorable. Rafael took me and two others to I went to Auschwitz Birkenau with. When i checked about micro breweries in Kracow, Rafael suggested that I visit CK Browar, which was next to Teatr Bagatela (short walk from Globtroter)...i had a great time there as well. All in all, i would give full marks to Globtroter for making my stay in Krakow the most memorable one! Cheers guys, continue to keep the flag flying high!

The staff could not have been any friendlier or more helpful. They dealt with all my questions quickly and efficiently and organised trips for us as well as money exchange. I travelled to Poland for a weekend city break with my mother. Our main goal was to visit Auschwitz-Birkenau and so we were originally going to spend two nights in the village of Oswiecim and then one night in Krakow. However we decided that Krakow had too much to offer and instead opted to base our whole stay at the Globtroter Guest House. The manager, Peter, was very helpful and accommodating in our e-mail correspondence and quickly arranged both an airport transfer and a guided tour to Auschwitz-Birkenau, both for very reasonable prices. The Guest House itself is a gorgeous little space with a real 'oldy-worldy' feel to it. In previous reviews some guests have complained about noise from a night club that is situated next door but in all honesty this never bothered us. The great thing about the Globtroter is that guests have to go through a main door (using either key or intercom) in order to reach the courtyard and the main building and reception. This was really good because it made the whole place feel safe and nicely tucked away from the busy streets. The room itself was spacious and very clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower worked perfectly. The location of the Globtroter is perfect - situated in the smaller square with just a two-minute walk from the larger square. On checking in we were given a map of Krakow and surrounding areas and the guy at the reception desk was more than happy to mark out the places we wished to visit, and give us instructions on which trams we needed to catch. We had brought a converter plug in order to charge our phones and cameras up, but for some reason this didn't fit the hotel plugs. Peter, the manager, gave us another plug and when that didn't work he then went to the trouble of finding ANOTHER plug which he loaned us for the rest of our stay. The staff truly are pleased to see you and even though some of the cleaning staff didn't seem fluent in English, they still greeted us with a smile and an acknowledging nod every morning. Overall the Globtroter is a fantastic Guest House and the perfect base for a weekend city break in Krakow, I would definitely come back here again!

I came over to Poland a couple of weeks ago & stayed at Globtroter.

From the outset of starting to organise my trip in England the staff at Globtroter were fantastic helping us with organising a taxi to & from the airport and also a guide to take us on two out of town tours.

The man that took us on the tours in particular was very helpful waiting while I wanted to look at something else in the area & also making it possible to do these things as well.

The hotel was also very nice. Well maintained and in a fantastic spot in the city.

I would highly recommend this establishment and the people that work there.

The Globtrotter was an excellent place to stay. The rooms were very nice and the service was outstanding. It is also in a perfect location to see the sights of old town. The lack of a breakfast area was the only drawback. But, the many other excellent features far outweighed the one drawback. We would certainly stay at the Globtrotter again in the future if we were in Krakow.

I echo the sentiments expressed in the other reviews. The service from everyone involved at The Globtroter was excellent. We arrived early in the morning on the night train and not only did they store our luggage for us, we had access to a shower several hours before check-in. the advice was excellent and we were able to pay in multiple currencies which after traveling through several countries, was very handy. My thanks to all of you at The Globtroter!

The location is excellent being located within the historic city centre. The service provided by the staff was excellent from the first welcome to the last goodbye. Although breakfast is not included we used the recommended restaurant across the Plac Sczcepanski which we found to good quality and excellent value. We also received good recommendations for local eating places. We stayed in a second floor room. It was clean, comfortable and quiet; we hardly noticed the other guests. The free wireless internet worked flawlesly which was critical during our stay in order to make an on-line submission related to employment (even though we were on holiday!). There are bus and tram stops close by to easily access those attractions which are too far away to walk to.

We have just returned from three weeks round tour of Europe. We have enjoyed most of the places, however one of them - Globtroter in Krakow - gave us such a great expeariance that I have decided to share it with you, since I have chosen this place after reading reviews.
Our plane was 45 minutes late, but Macek, the driver from Globtroter, was waiting for us. Within just over half an hour we were in our rooms, after a great welcome at the Reception by Peter, where we were given a short verbal "tour" of Krakow, the best restaurants (not most expensive - by the way, food in Krakow costs approx.1/4 to 1/2 what you pay in U.K. I have found it a little on the heavy side - not too dietary, but very good - pierogi is a "must try"), a lot of info on local museums and places to see (the choice is great - the time we had, 4 nights, was too short). We were all give a map each and a promise (which was kept) that they will answer any questions that we may have.
The rooms were a good size and comfortable. Good size bathroom with hot and spacious shower. All our rooms had kettle and a welcome pack with tea, coffee and sugar. (Note: In Poland It is not customary to drink tea with milk - if you want good cuppa you will have to ask for the milk in all the restaurants).
Globtroter is very close to the main square (Rynek), less than a minute walk. You can walk to most of the places of interest on foot. Kazimierz (Jewish district) is furthest away - it took us just over 20 minutes to walk there - it is worth it.
We were glad that we have split Wawel Castle tour over two seperate visits (reception advice) - you can do it in one, but I think that it would be very tiring and you will not expeariance the full pleasure of this magnificent historical place.
We have visited Auschwitz with the tour organised by Globtroter- picked up just outside the main gate (9.15), booked on an official tour (we have had a private guide, but I understand that vthis is not always possible), visited Auschwitz I then taken to Birkenau (here we expearinced another little gem - we were saved over a 1 km walk by the driver who drove around the camp to pick us up at the back of the camp (The Monument) where the tour has finished. Some people never see this part - as we have found out from people that we have met in the restaurant and who booked the trip to Auschwitz with one of the tour operators in the city. We were back in the city before 16:00.
Auschwitz is a "difficult" expeariance, but it is very interesting and all of us felt that " you have to see it with your own eyes" and to pay respects to people that died there. It should be on everybodies agenda.
Wieliczka - Salt Mine was at the other end of "happiness" spectrum. It is an unbelivable place and it has restored a believe in a human race (after seeing Auschwitz) - there is no other place on earth like St. Kinga Chapel.
Someone wrote that Krakow is a crown studded with gems. We agree with this statement fully, but would like to add that one of these gems is Globtroter Guest House -
Thank you for making our stay so complete - WE WILL BE BACK to see the rest of your wonderful City.

Globtroter Hotel is great but it is NOT fancy—certainly it lacks many of the amenities of a four-star hotel. Bring your own shampoo. They don’t supply any. But it is inexpensive, clean and couldn’t be in a better location in Krakow. It is an older building without the trappings of most ordinary hotel. My room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff was super. And—they offered me a cash discount and a very good rate for booking directly with them on the Internet. I liked it a lot; highly recommended. If I return to Krakow I will definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our 5 night stay in Krakow at the Globtroter. The room was basic but very clean. You have to buy your water at the market, which is 10 min walk. We also purchased sandwiches, potato chips, wine, appetizers, breakfast rolls, etc.
The staff at the Globtroter was extremely helpful. 24 hours service.
We had the room just outside the main building. Very convenient. No stairs.
There is an ATM just a couple of doors down to purchase Zloty. Around 2-1 to us dollar.
Visited all the sights including Schindler's factory. Conveniently close to buses and cable cars, main square, markets, eating places, etc. Didn't want to walk so we took a taxi to the main bus station, took a bus to Auschwitz/Birkenau. There you join a English tour. Then hop on a free bus to Birkenau. Tour continues there. Bus back to Auschwitz was full and didn't want to wait so we taxi back to Auschwitz. Had a little trouble getting back to Krakow, as the bus to take us back did not show. So we went a little further to the station where more buses and mini vans were. Buses and taxis were cheap.
Neat to visit Schindler's factory. Not enough info about Schindler, the people, and the factory. More about WWII.

Took the free walking tour. Good. Lots of walking.

Rick Steves recommended restaurants were right on. Very good!! Love the golabki and pork knuckle!!!!

The room, with private bath/toilet, was very nice; the free internet access was appreciated; the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff was delightful; and the Globtroter's location, within the Old Town, was perfect. I would recommend it, certainly, for all of these reasons as well as for the price.

A very nice place to stay. Friendly, helpful and competent staff with very good English-speaking skills. Internet connection worked flawlessly, which was very important to us. The only noise we heard at night was an occasional squeaking floor or a bit of talk from the courtyard next door, but the other guests were scrupulous about keeping noise down and it was never a problem even though we are light sleepers -- amazing considering that the night life in Krakow seems to go on most of the night. Great location in a small square that is much quieter than the larger square closeby. Excellent and reasonably priced food just a few doors down or across the square, everything you will need within reasonable walking distance. We found the local folks very warm and welcoming, perhaps less compulsive about orderliness in queues and such but that's not really such a bad thing as it works for them and you learn to flow into it quickly enough. Krakow may be the cleanest and best maintained city I have visited to date, Prices are very reasonable overall; many merchants prefer cash so be sure to have enough on hand, including 1 zwoty coins for tips, so you don't have to use plastic all the time. If we are ever in Krakow in the future we will certainly stay at Globtroter again.

We knew we wanted to go to Krakow it was finding the right accomodation. We had spent hours searching deals on hotels on various websites but any good deals were for hotels situated away from the main square, and we wanted to be within a short walking distance. Prices for hotels situated in main square were expensive.

Then we decided to search Guest Houses on this website and see what other people thought of them. The GLOBTROTTER was one of the top ones and we decided to book it. We emailed the Guesthouse directly and they confirmed the same day that they had vacancies for the dates we wanted. The prices were very reasonable worked out £60 a night. We booked for 3 nights.
We arranged to be picked up and dropped off at airport through Globtrotter. All went very smoothly.
We were so very pleased on the Globtrotters location, less than 3 min walk to main square, so convienient. We couldnt of asked to be in a better location. The room was basic but thats all we wanted. We didnt go there to stay in. Bathroom was great with a powershower and beds were comfortable enough. Very Clean.
We definatley recommend the Autwitz Tour, it did entail quite a bit of walking, but so very worth it, very moving and an opportunity not to be missed. We took the tour with Globtrotter, we had a very good guide.
The weather was lovely when we went, all the restaurants had loads of table and chairs outside and was lovely to sit and have a drink/meal watch everyone going by. They have horse and carts in the main square they takes people for trips around square for 200Zlt, we reccomend that too, was brill.
Overall we had a fab time, loved krakow, very beautiful. Got great value for money at the Globtrotter. The Polish can be a bid rude though, although the Globtrotter staff were very friendly and restaurant staff were ok. We would definatley return to Krakow and definatley stay at the Globtrotter again.

The Globtroter Guest House was probably the accomodation highlight of my entire 31-day trip. The location was perfect, only a block to the main square, with a nice sized room, good bed, big shower and GREAT people downstairs who went out of their way to assist me in every way, including good restaurant suggestions and even finding me a discount on my camp tour. All of the staff were helpful and had excellent English language skills, but Aneta & Marek were especially helpful and engaging. I wish more hotels and guesthouses had staff this good. My only suggestion would be to hang a sign that sticks out rather than just a small one painted on the wall, as I walked right by the door two or three times. If you're going to Krakow, this IS the place to stay so far as I'm concerned.

This is the sort of place you hate to give away, but in all fairness, others should know about it even just to keep them (Globtroter) going. A great location which is what drives the excellent value rating, Krakow's old town area is not particularly cheap. Very clean, beds are comfortable, and the staff is truly helpful. BTW, the staff does speak excellent English for those who are hesitant to travel due to language difficulties. Not difficult to find but a little hidden so be prepared to look sharp. Bar/club next door on first floor shouln't scare anyone as it was always very quiet. Only drawback is no breakfast (though a guest fridge is in the lounge) but walk across Szczpanski square and there are several breakfast options available.

We thoroughly enjoyed our four-night stay at Globtroter. The hotel has plenty of character so we felt we were really in Poland, not in a sterile international environment. Our room was very simple, but clean and comfortable. Perhaps in very hot weather the lack of air conditioning would be an issue for some people, but it was quiet enough to have the window open all night and we were able to prop the door open for extra ventilation as it gave onto the wooden balcony. The bathroom was spacious and there was plenty of hot water. The room had a kettle with cups and a couple of sachets of tea and coffee. A communal fridge provides ice and coffee cream and guests can store their own food and drink there. The second floor library has a useful collection of maps and guides and paperbacks left by previous guests. It also provides free internet access which is invaluable. The little courtyard garden is pretty and extremely tranquil. It was a pleasure to sit on the balcony with a book and a drink after a hard day's sight-seeing. The square outside the hotel is a very pleasant neighbourhood with two good places for breakfast and several excellent restaurants. The fountains in the square are lovely and enjoyed by lots of small children. All this just five minutes from the main square - an excellent location. Hotel staff were very kind and helpful: they organised an Auschwitz tour for us and helped us find the right bus to visit the salt mines.

Globtroter's location was ideal, the rooms were charming, spacious and comfortable and the cost was super reasonable -- but what really made our stay special was the wonderful staff. Not only did they offer laundry service, daytime luggage storage and directions/ suggestions to make our time in Krakow enjoyable, they facilitated our out-of-town travels by providing all the help we needed to secure our transportation and accommodations. We are absolutely recommending Globtroter to our family and friends, and hope to return ourselves someday.

Excellent. We were happy to stay there for three nights. If we ever return, we will come again. Will also tell our friends and travel agent about this lovely place.

A really good place to stay -great location, clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Bedding a bit dated and squeaky beds the only downside.

Can be a little bit tricky to find this place by walking from the trainstation if you don´t take a taxi ofcourse. But it takes only ten minutes and once you find it you will also find that it is in a great area of town, with walking distance to most sightseeings. The room was spacious and comfort with cofee and tea facilities and cleaned everyday. At the exterior corridor there is a small table and chairs outside every room where you can sit and have your breakfast, morningcofee, a smoke or just a beer in the evening. The guests share a fridge where you can put your food and as a guest you have also access to a computer and internet. The staff where really helpful and friendly and if Iever go to Krakow again I will definitely stay here

We recently stayed 4 nights at Globtroter and we had a great stay. It is a couple minute walk to the market square, 10-15 to the train station or Wawel Hill. Our room was a good size and quite comfortable. The only negative is the noise made by the on-demand hot water system, even when people in another room were using their hot water. The hotel has a computer for guest use as well as a fridge. We had them arrange a ride to the airport for us for 70 zloty. The service provided by all the different people who worked the front desk during our stay was excellent. If I am lucky enough to be back in Krakow I will definitely stay here again.

A low budget star in the heart of Krakow. I can't stress enough how helpful the staff was.

Globetrotter was quiet, spacious, clean & located quite near the main square!

From first arrival from the train (close by!) you are greeted by a beautiful courtyard, blooming in the spring/summer. Check in was easy and our room was available even arriving in the morning by overnight train. Our room was clean, large, and quiet. We were just down the hall from a computer and library, which were nice to have access to. Staff were helpful making suggestions and arranging tours. The location was on a quiet street and just down the road from Rynek Glowny Old Town square. Good coffeeshop around the corner, not open super early, but not a problem.

Really enjoyed this guest house and would stay again. Just a hint, however, none of the places we stayed on our trip through Poland, Hungary or Italy had toiletries in the room save for multi-purpose hair/body soap. Bring your own and you'll be in good shape!

Just arrived back from our 3 night stay at the Globtrotter in Krakow. The accommodation was clean, spacious, really warm with a truely rustic feel. The location is excellent and quiet although located in the hub of the city. The service and local information given by staff and arrangements for the airport transfer to/from, as well as arranging our trip to the Salt Mines and Auschwicz was excellent and ensured that we were able to maximise our time in Krakow at a reasonable price. I would most certainly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return later this year.

I have stayed in Poland many times and this hotel is one of the most pleasant places to stay. The rooms are very clean, the staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, you are made to feel very welcome. The location is superb, only a few minutes walk to the market square. I have stayed here for my last four visits and will stay many more times.

I recently visited Krakow with my husband and two adult daughters. The Globtroter was an excellent place to stay. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and spotless. It is pushed back from the street so you do not hear any noise and are able to get a good night's rest after a busy day of sightseeing. The staff is excellent and they truly made us feel at home. They are knowledgeable and provided many good suggestions for restaurants, transportation, and points of interest. I am planning to return to Krakow and will definitely stay at the Globtroter. Thank you for your genuine hospitality.

Great location - set back from the street and when you enter the grounds you are in your own little oasis in Krakow. Staff was extremely helpful and our rooms were spacious and clean. I would stay here again or recommend to other travelers.

I consider several factors in choosing a hotel, then rating it afterwards. I also try and get hotels that have character or a feel for where we are, or the type of trip I am on. In other words, when in Prague, I don't want the Hilton.

Reviews by others are very important, and we do our homework. Also, location, price, breakfast, communication.

Location is near everything, but on its own little square, not the crowded main square. This area was quiet, but there was some media/tv activity in a strange tent on the square. Curious.

On a trip like ours, time is valuable and better spent not looking for places to eat breakfast. There wasn't a whole lot available for us early in the morning around the hotel that wasn't a full breakfast. We just wanted something simple on the go.

No problem finding it, but we took a taxi from the train station. Go to the inner door and use the buzzer. The courtyard is very pretty. I love flowers and was constantly looking to see what new blooms had appeared. We had the room straight back. If you get that one, be sure you lock the door as it is mistaken for the office. :}
The office is off to the left. The staff was great with emails and working with our tentative changing plans. They kept our luggage for us after a night train arrival and before check in.
Once in the room, cleanliness, good hot water pressure, lighting, mirrors, space to put personal bathroom items, comfort and sometimes view are considered. The room was large enough. Very spacious seeming due to the high ceiling. Rustic furniture, but character. Shower was wonderful.
We slept wonderfully. First hotel we had where we could turn on the heat. Nice view out onto courtyard. We walked all over the city, didn't use transportation except to get to hotel, and this was doable.

They kept our luggage the last day while we waited for the night train out and toured more. We continued to use lounge, computer ( free in the lobby for those of us disconnected from the hi tech world, and lobby bathroom.

Something I didn't add on the other reviews, don't count on English TV. BBC gets old. None of the hotels in 4 countries had anything watchable, not that we wanted to.
There was a restaurant courtyard right outside our room. Either it is always quiet or was due to the cold weather but we never heard anything outside.
I would recommend it.

We loved our experience at the GlobTroter. It's close proximity to the town square, restaurants, shops and tourist attractions make it the perfect place to stay. The front desk was SOOO helpful. They helped us plan day trips, gave us great advice for getting around the local area, great restaurant suggestions and also gave us some tips to help us "blend in" with the local people. This is THE BEST place to stay in Krakow... it's located down a side street, so it's quiet, yet you're close to everything! Clean, good sized rooms, helpful staff.... you can't ask for anything better!

5 stars from start to finish for location, accommodation, cleanliness, value and friendliness. Definitely a home from home - nothing was too much trouble, the staff were really friendly. Even when I lost my purse (now found) one of the organised tours to Auschwitz, the staff helped with cancelling my cards and have promised to send my wallet back to England. You will not get this level of service at any other hotel. Thanks so much to everyone at Globtroter!!!

An excellently situated hotel, it's within walking distance of many great bars, clubs and restaurants. Very friendly staff, Peter spoke excellent English and gave us good advice on where to go for food and drink, arranged us a trip to Auschwitz, all of which was no trouble for them and the prices were great. Room was basic but very clean, and the way the hotel looks onto a courtyard, doesn't make you feel like your right in a busy city so it is relaxing. Highly recommended and I look forward to visitng Krakow again, most likely staying at the Globtroter.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Globtroter. I don't think I have ever encountered a more helpful staff. They were invariably pleasant and friendly, answering questions and offering advice. I see that some prior reviews refer to this as basic accommodation. Well, yes, this is not a luxury class hotel. But it is very clean and comfortable. It's a nice place. There was certainly nothing pretentious about it. Our room was a good size. It was a comfortable, friendly environment. The hotel is situated in a quiet courtyard just a couple of blocks from the main square. It's very convenient for stopping in for breaks during the day.
I was traveling in Poland with my teenage son. He actually said he was sorry to leave the Globtroter. That's a very good endorsement in itself. We both slept well and felt at home here during our stay in Krakow. I would definitely return.

I stayed at Globtroter for two nights when I went to visit Krakow and had a lovely time. The staff was very, very kind and accommodating, the rooms were beautiful and clean, and it was very affordable. I would definitely stay here again - in fact, I hope to! Krakow and the surrounding area deserves more than just two days.

We arranged for airport pick-up and drop-off, which went perfectly; right on time for pick up, and comfortably early for drop off. The staff were polite and marked several places of interest on a map for me, including places to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms were nicely sized and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped. The hotel itself was in a great location, walking distance from every attraction in Old Town and the Jewish neighbourhood. I would highly recommend Globtroter to those visiting Krakow's historic centre!

Fui de Lisboa para Varsóvia, onde permaneci 3 dias. Depois segui viagem para Cracóvia e tive que arranjar alojamento. Um amigo aconselhou-me o Globtroter!

Excellent location minutes away from the beautiful main square, without the buzz. Very quiet and secluded in an inner courtyard. Interior is simple, functional and sort of outdated 1970th, not very stylish, but it doesn't matter for the price. The room was spacious, with high ceilings and nice beams to look at. Warm bathroom, big shower. Appreciated the kettle in the room.

I don't have enough words to thank to all the staff from there. They were so kind and patient with us. My special thanks to Marek, who helped us with the booking of the concert we wanted to see. They even payed for our tickets, so we have it there when we arrived! The rooms were very big, clean and elegant. The lobby of our apartment was so nice, and we enjoyed the free coffee and tea... We will be back soon in Cracow and we will stay to Globtroter for sure!
