Good Bye Lenin Hostel

|
A couple of years ago, Mr. Jan Grzebski, a railway worker, actually did wake from a 19 year coma, and he was amazed to find that the red flag had been removed. But one place where the Soviet banner is still riding high is at this tongue-in-cheek hostel, right on the Royal Way. Backpackers are onto a winner here, as you're slap bang in the centre of town, on the recently repaved Grodzka street. Travellers can expect better quality beds than you'd find in a bona fide Soviet era hostel. Plus the hot water and electricity actually work. That said, there's plenty of retro art for wry travellers to savour. |

The organisers of this year's Krakow Film Festival have already received more than 2,000 submissions from directors keen to make their name ...

good position in the city for both the clubs and for seeing the culture. basically next door to one of the bet clubs in krakow, prozak. people friendly and not invading, good shower facilities and bedrooms.. cheap price too.
