Floryan is right in the centre of the hugely popular ul. Florianska, which makes its location perfect, and the rooms have been well appointed and decorated. Bathrooms are well-maintained and smart, and the overall impression of the place is welcoming, colourful and fresh. The hotel is fully air-conditioned, which is a major benefit in the summer. One of the best deals in this part of town, and close to all the major attractions - many of the best museums, galleries, boutiques, antique shops, restaurants and pubs are within walking distance. **Prices kick off at 280 for a single, 360 for double and 560 for a suite. 15% Christmas reduction 15th - 26th December! **

Reasonably priced with a perfect location and laid back atmosphere. Clean and modestly and furnished rooms. Great coffee shop just on the other side of the street. Would definitely come back here again.

We liked this place a lot, the room was good size, clean and many restaurants just on a doorstep. Friendly reception staff, let us leave our bags on our last day while we went to do some more sight-seeing.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Floryan and the service was excellent; accommodations were perfect for our family of four. We also appreciated the scheduling of tours to Nowa Huta (our tour guide, Lucas, was outstanding) and Auschmitz, both perfectly timed.

Our room seemed basic but we did go for the cheaper option, we still had everything we needed, and very clean, great food in the restaurant too and a superb location.

I liked this hotel very much, there are so many shops , clubs and pubs on Florianska street. Maybe, not the most quiet of the hotels, but you are right in the centre of Stare Miasto!

We were very happy to get a double room in the Old Town that didn't ruin us financially. We were right on the so called 'Royal Way'. Lots of lively things on. Breakfast in a cavernous cellar beneath the house.

We stayed at The Floryan over New Years Eve 05/06. The hotel is perfectly located for people in Cracow just for the weekend.

Its very central so you can pop back at any time in the day if you want to. The staff were particularly helpful and were happy to make reservations/book taxi's etc. The rooms are as they appear on various websites - a good size, functional and with good, clean and modern bathrooms. The rooms lack a bit of atmosphere but we felt they more than made up for this with the location, standards and staff. The breakfast was OK too. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for reliable, straight forward accomodation in the centre of the Old Town in Cracow.

PS New Years Eve in Cracow is great!

Location, location absolutely fabulous.Close to major sites such as St Mary's Basilica and the glorious Square and the stunningly beautiful Sukiennice, not forgetting the Barbican and the Florianska gate itself. The hotel itself is cosy, clean and friendly. Our room was on the third floor which is a bit of a hike especially when the temperature outside is in the 20's,but the airconditioning in every room soon coole you down. For an old inn the rooms were very modern in design and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was a decent size and once more immaculate.
Breakfast is buffet style downstairs in the Vesuvius restaurant and there was plenty to choose from(quite warm down there though)
The hotel on request arranged pick up from the airport, and can arrange trips to more distant places of interest. The staff really made us feel as if no request was too much trouble and made our brief stay so enjoyable that we can't wait to go back to Krakow,a truely beautiful city with much to offer.

Let me just say, this is Arnold Schwartzneggar, and I like this hotel a lot. They did not give me pizza with pineapple which is good. I will be back!

It was my first trip to Europe, and i chose to visit Poland and Krakow, and since I was travelling on a shoestring budget, it was recommended to me that i stay at the Hotel Floryan. What a great decision! The hotel is located right in the heart of the Old Town, walking distance to all that Krakow (City Square, Cloth Hall, Wawel Castle etc.) has to offer and it is minutes away from the train and bus stations. I was very impressed at how clean, cozy Hotel Floryan was considering it was so inexpensive! The staff was very friendly, and went above and beyond providing me with cultural information about Krakow and vicinity. Plus the Hotel offers organized trips to Wieliczka, Ojcow and any places of interest, which was very easy and a great way to meet other travelers. To top of this great experience, the staff even helped me find an inexpensive ticket back to Warsaw. So if you want to be in the heart of Krakow, feel like you are at home and have a knowlegable staff provide you with literally everything you want without breaking your budget this is the only place to stay! I cant wait to plan my next trip back, and I will definitely be staying at the Hotel Floryan.
