Ascot is a new hotel situated in a very convenient location right outside of the Planty gardens, equidistant from the Old Town and Central Train Station. The atmosphere is minimalist and tasteful, with art by Tamara de Lempicka adorning the walls of the lobby, while each room is tastefully decorated in rich dark wood furniture and includes amenities like TV, large modern bathroom, telephone, and free wireless internet. There's even a free full breakfast buffet in their stylish restaurant. All of the hotel's rooms are air-conditioned.

Great value and location. Very clean comfortable hotel

The location is very good, close to the station, shopping and main square. I found the breakfast selection very limited.

Very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel. I had a single room on the second floor and the window was double glazed so had no noise when it was shut. The room was very clean the bed comfortable the bathroom very clean. The only complain is no parking next to the hotel.

Good Hotel, perfect location for business travel as just few minutes walk from the Train Station. You can hear the trains indeed, but it didn't bother me too much. Very helpful staff.

breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice also the staff were very friendly and helpful. It is too close to the railway so it can be really loud sometimes.

The staff were brilliant and so polite. Everything was spotlessly clean and breakfasts good value.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel returning 2 April. The hotel is in a great location. The staff are excellent, rooms very clean and the staff extremely helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay again. Save the taxi fee from the airport as the train station is 5 minutes walk from this hotel.

My wife and I stayed here last week for 3 nights. We were supposed to be staying at the nearby Hotel Wyspianski but were moved here on arrival. The hotel is very modern and clean with friendly reception staff. We were given a twin rooom so asked for a double and this was not a problem. The hotel is ideally located and is only 5 minute walk from the market square and 10 minute walk to the Kazimierz district, which has some excellent bars and is less touristy. The huge modern shopping centre is also within 5 minutes walk. There is a bit of traffic noise at the front of the hotel but not enough to be a major concern. The continental breakfast was good and had the usual choice of cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs etc. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Great hotel. Ideal location - near to station, near to old town and square. But far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Spotlessly clean, friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast.

Agree with all the comments below. Immaculate (just opened). Good price. Great to be so close to everything. Loved Krakow.

I stayed at the Ascot for one night at the end of November. It’s a new hotel & it’s of a higher standard than you would expect of 3 Star Hotel.
The Hotel is in a very convienient location, about a five minute walk from the station & about a five minute walk from the market square. It was snowing a blizzard when I arrived in Krakow & I was pleased that the hotel was warm & welcoming.
The receptionist was excellent, I had requested a single smoking room but none were available, she went & checked with the manager & I was allocated a twin room at no extra charge.
My room was medium in size & spotlessly clean (as was the compact bathroom).
The Hotel has a small Lobby Bar, but this doesn’t sell beer on draught, only in bottles & at 7pln a bottle it was more expensive than at the four star Qubus Hotel I had recently stayed at. Nonetheless it was very pleasant & the service was impeccable.
The breakfast was ok, without being anything special & didn’t really live up to the high standards of the hotel. It consisted of the usual array of cold cuts & fruit & although there were hot sausages, there were no scrambled eggs.
All in all, I thought that the Ascot was a very good Hotel, in a very good location & I would recommend it to anyone travelling to Krakow.
