Hotel Royal reviewed by Papillon from Poland on Mar.19.2010 | "Stay in Hotel Royal it will make you feel like kings and queens neighbour (literally)find out why! plus it's 3 minutes walk from main square the heart of Cracow.
It's quite cheap too." | | |
Hotel Petrus reviewed by Louise Roberts from United Kingdom on Mar.18.2010 | "Hotel Petrus is a good 30 minute walk away from the Old Town and is situated in Debniki-however, the walk is pretty nice considering half of it is along the Wisla and you do get some cracking views of Wawel, plus the Manghha centre is not far away. This hotel was pretty much empty when we arrived, which was great for two nights as it was utterly silent, two great nights sleep ensued. Then....a coach-load of Italian students arrived. Which of course meant constant screaming, braying and kicking doors until midnight. The walls are very thin! Reception tried to sort them out after I complained but hey, teenagers will do what they want! Anyway, the room we stayed in was clean, very warm and dry, however don't expect any tea or coffee making facilities, a bathtub (it's showers all the way) or a proper guest directory in your room. The breakfast is buffet-style eggs/sausages/cheese/meats/cereal/cake and OK but you have to pay 20PLN for it if you have not paid for breakfast with your room, which is rather expensive! The staff at the hotel were attentive and knowledgeable and spoke extremely good English. For the money we paid I'd say it was pretty good value."

Globtroter reviewed by enrica from Italy on Mar.16.2010 | "Right in the heart of the historic Old Town. Globtroter is a a traditional and peaceful courtyard annexed with 9 rooms, very clean and large, and 3 apartments each with private and new bathroom, satellite television and telephone, reception 24 hours, free internet access, reading room, at exceptionally prices. Friendly staff, fluent in English, helping to organize trips and transfers. I have stayed at the Glotroter many times and each time my stay is perfect...no complaints at all. Restaurants and pubs, all is few steps from this place. None match the value for money, cleanliness, location and friendliness of Globtroter. "

Globtroter reviewed by M& D Walker from United Kingdom on Mar.08.2010 | "The Globtrotter was truly a gem of a find. The staff were wonderful with arranging our trip to auschwitz very sad but so well done and a must to do whilst your there. Thanks to Daniel our driver for the day. The room was big and warm (a must for February weather)The Globtrotter does not look impressive from the outside but as you go through to the entrance you enter a lovley courtyard area which makes it so quiet. The shower had a big cublicle and was powerful. Krakow is so compact and easy to find your way around. We can recommend the Dog In The Fog on Tomasza street at the far end for great food at very resonable prices"
Globtroter reviewed by Rogan from Australia on Mar.06.2010 | "This place is a gem. Its clean, comfortable, roomy, well priced, quiet and secure. From here you can book tours and arrange airport transfers. The internet is available, there is a reading room and table tennis in the basement. Its location is second to none - 100 metres to the main square and restaurants within 50 metres.
A great thing about this place is that it does not have direct street frontage. Access to the hotel is via an arcade through an adjoining building. At the end of the arcade you walk through a door into a small courtyard and from there to the reception. In a minute you go from the hustle and bustle of the city streets to a quiet enclave. The whole building is drenched in character - it resonates with the history of Krakow.
I would recommend this place and if ever I have the fortune to visit Krakow again I will stay here"
Globtroter reviewed by Kristin from Norway on Mar.04.2010 | "Veldig bra sted hvis man vil bo rimelig, sentralt – og rolig.
