Jagiellonian Centre of Polish language

"As a can advocate of learning new languages, I went into this experience with high hopes and I am glad to say they were not only upheld but excelled! My teacher (Beata S-B) was superb at her job, made everyone feel relaxed and was able to efficiently teach us all we needed to know in order to get by at this level of Polish. The course also encouraged me to further my learning on an individual level, but with the added advantage that the course gave me enough of a grounding and orientation so that I understood the points I was trying to learn. The beginner course I took was well-structured and not in the least bit boring- in fact most lessons rather rushed past with the bonus of learning lots! I have come out of this experience with a well rounded general basic knowledge of the language and a keen desire to learn further. As a mark of this, I am actually remaining in Kraków this summer in order to continue my learning! Dziękuję!"

"Our family did a Krakow Photo Shoot with DeeLee in May and had a GREAT time! This included a 2 year old who really didn't want to smile. DeeLee was fantastic with our son and by the end of the shoot, he was blowing her kisses. Not only did the pictures turn out amazing, but we also had a very memorable day in Krakow. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend DeeLee to others! "

Jagiellonian University Summer School

"As someone who has attented the Jagiellonian Summer Scholl four times , I can warmly welcome the language courses there. They have been enormously important for me in my work a conference interpreter at the European Parliament. The pedagogy use is very varied and combines grammar, communication skills and Polish culture in a very good way. The teachers are always competent and well prepared. They teach in a friendly and sympathetic way, often combined with humour. The atmosphere in this summer school is very dynamic and welcoming. It is a great place to learn about Poland and to make new friends. The Polish students who work as assistants during the summer school are extremely helpful and friendly and they are a good to get to know Poland and cracow better. The teaching groups are never too big and they are homogenous, thanks to a particularly ambitious placement test. The extracurricular programme is very rich, combining interesting lectures on various themes with films and excursions to sites of historical and cultural importance. Last but not least I would like to highlight that the city of Cracow is an extremely beautiful and flourishing city with a wide offer of culture, restaurants, clubs and bars. Jagiellonian University Summer School

"I have followed two summer school classes as well as two private tutorials. In both cases I was fully satisfied with the flexible offer, the contact with the teachers, their professionality and willingness to accomodate specific needs. The summer school really gives one the opportunity to study the Polish language in depth, while at the same time offering the possibility to enjoy the social aspect of studying in group and visiting culturally relevant places together. The private tutorial is excellent for the stakhanov diehards with a tooth for hard core grammar, but can be perfectly tailored to anyone’s wishes, skills and levels. If you want to make the most of studying Polish and you are up for a challenge, this school is definately worth a recommendation."

"Welcome to Krakow! Long stay or short stay, memories should be captured! We were fortunate to celebrate with Dee our 4th month of pregnancy and the first day of the waited Spring!! It was an excellent day and we had so much fun being the center of her attention around the downtown! She made us feel so comfortable and the pictures are indeed so nice! Instead of me taking pictures of her and vice-versa, Dee created for us a memorable day and nice memories of Krakow which otherwise we would most probably not get the chance although we are living here. Benefit of a day out with your loved one, feel yourself and enjoy being photographed! It's cool!! "
