Krakow's first public picture gallery reopened its doors on Friday 3rd after a four-year-renovation. The Gallery of 19th Century Polish Art, originally launched in 1884, has maintained its home in the Cloth Hall, the sweeping edifice that straddles the Market Square.
The renovation of the museum has cost some 23. 5 million zloty, about half of which came from a generous bequest from Norway Grants.... |
