Finnair Flies To Cracow

Finnair is starting direct flights to Cracow in spring 2006. Passengers from Asia and Europe are offered fast connections via Helsinki to this historically unique former Polish capital. Finnair will operate its newest aircraft type, the 76 seat Embraer E170 on this route. The first of these aircraft is arriving in September.

"The new route continues the enforcement of our Asian strategy. Cracow is a very interesting destination not only for Europeans but passengers from Asia as well," says Finnair SVP Corporate Communications, Christer Haglund. At the same time, the Krakow economic area with a population of a million receives very good flight connections on Finnair's network.

Finnair will fly to Cracow's international airport, which is named after Pope John Paul II.
