Celtic have signed Poland striker Maciej Zurawski for two million pounds ($3.50 million) on a three-year deal from Wisla Krakow.

The 29-year-old finally put pen to paper after protracted negotiations and interest from Turkish side Trabsonspor and Italians Fiorentina.

"I am very happy just to be here in Scotland. I don't know if I ever worried this deal wold not happen," Zurawski told reporters. "All I know is that everything is alright now."

Zurawski will join up with his new team mates at their Bisham Abbey training camp next week.
