Polish national coach Pawel Janas has said that in order to make progress in his career the second best scorer of Ekstraklasa Maciej Zurawski must leave the domestic championship and try to play in some stronger foreign league.
“Let’s be honest Wisla Krakow want to earn a large amount of money on his, considering he’s relatively young, and is a great scorer, but if they boost up his price sky high nobody will want him. They must remember how much he contributed to Wisla to become a champion and let him go if a good offer comes before him,” said Janas.
The 28 year old has spent his entire career playing in Poland, he started his career at Warten Poznan in 1994/1995 from where he joined Lech Poznan to finally sign for Wisla in 2000. Since then he has played 152 league matches and scored over 90 (to be exact 99) goals for them.
In the jersey of the Polish national selection Zurawski has made 42 appearances since the finish of 1998 and scored 13 goals.
