Friday 25th March (Good Friday) sees the opening of a short but sweet musical festival that will be welcoming a handful of top-notch ensembles from around the globe.
The classical concerts will be divided between Cracow's Philharmonic Hall and the extraordinary art nouveau Franciscan Church (the latter is situated just south of the Main Market Square).
The closing concert will be at 9pm on Easter Monday (28th March), in this case a performance of Renaissance music by Britain's Orlando quartet.
If you can only make one concert, and you want to see something that you have never seen before, Cracow Life heartily recommends one of the performances in the Franciscan Church. This magical place of worship was given an art nouveau makeover one hundred years ago by Stanislaw Wyspianski, one of Cracow's best-loved sons. It's a unique place.
