The new, as yet to be named, center party is to announce its list of supporters and program this Sunday.
Freedom Union (UW) leader Wladyslaw Frasyniuk is set to talk to President Aleksander Kwasniewski about the new political project and potential June parliamentary elections. Former President Lech Walesa blessed the new initiative, but declared that he will not join the party. "I will be in another place, but I support it, because I have to, when I see these crazy people from Rydzyk and other parties, which are already tired or do not treat the country and development potential seriously," said Walesa, who added that he sees a chance for his son Jaroslaw to be engaged in the move. "I have submitted an initial declaration of support, but I will not sign up to the party as I am too young to declare loyalty. I am still awaiting propositions from PO and PiS," said Jaroslaw Walesa.
