Committed hedonists should look no further than the Absurd Club this weekend where the knights of Absurdity will be staging a 48 hour extravaganza to celebrate Bartech's birthday. Special guest DJs from Britain and across Poland will be descending on Cracow's zaniest nightclub for the techno shenanigans. Things will kick off on Friday evening and will push on well into Sunday if you've got the stamina to go for the full monty.
You'll find the club squirreled away down a little passage just off the Market Square (ul. Grodzka 3a). Inside, the vibe is a glorious blend of sci-fi thriller and 70's sleaze - just the ticket for a miserable Winter's day.
On Friday London's Ant will be stepping up alongside local legends Norf, Wojti and Miss Acrae. On Saturday, Uglyfunk's Mark Hawkins will be taking the baton, backed up by Gogo, Bartech himself and the redoubtable DJ Fukktry. Tickets are 10 zloty for one day or 15 for the full forty eight hour adventure. In other words, a bargain. Let battle commence!
