Night at the Museum

Offering an opportunity to play at being Nicholas Cage, Krakow’s museums will be opening their doors on the night of May 20/21.
In all, 37 museums and galleries in the city will welcome visitors, and they are expected to turn up in significant numbers. So popular are two of the sites – the underground museum in the main square and Schindler’s Factory in Podgorze – that you must book ahead if you want to go. However, it’s all free.
While it’s not going to be possible to get to all of the museums and galleries – though given the number of special events planned for the evening you may well want to – you can visit a fair few by taking advantage of free public transport between the sites.
This is just one of a series of ‘Krakow nights’ planned for the summer – watch this site for more information about evenings of theatre, jazz, sacred music and poetry.
