Japanese Spring

From geisha to samurai, Galeria Krakowska is celebrating all things oriental with its Japanese Spring exhibition which opens on February 26.
Ten stands will present different aspects of Japanese culture, offering visitors the chance to learn skills such as origami. The exhibition will also present the traditions and crafts of the land of the cherry blossom.
Festivals – called matsuri – are an important part of Japanese life, and the most significant of these will be presented at the exhibition. Children can take part in workshops, and everyone will be able to learn the arts of ikebana (flower arranging) and sushi preparation.
The exhibition has been organised with the help of Krakow’s Manggha museum. Thanks to their support there will be the chance to win museum and restaurant tickets, and sushi kits. The exhibition will be at Galeria Krakowska, next to the main railway station, until March 13.
