Dudek Heroics Help Poland

Goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek made several superb saves Wednesday to help Poland to a 0-0 draw against France in a friendly match at Stade de France.

Beleaguered France coach Raymond Domenech suffered his fourth consecutive home draw. His side has scored only five times in six matches under his reign.

Four years ago at the same stadium, Dudek made a series of stunning saves only for Zinedine Zidane to beat him late. This time, he kept out shots from Thierry Henry, Benoit Pedretti, Sebastien Squillaci and William Gallas in the first half alone.

Poland almost made France pay for its missed chances. But 'keeper Mickael Landreau, making only his third appearance for Les Bleus in place of the injured Fabien Barthez, made good saves to deny Jacek Kryznowek and Maciej Zurawski.
