Streaker Raps Tomb of Former President
Visitors to Wawel Cathedral were presented with an unlikely prospect on Saturday when a sozzled man gallumphed through the sanctuary in nothing save for a pair of underpants.
The Polish pilgrim initially raised eyebrows whilst wandering through the cathedral crypts. On seeing the recently installed tomb of late president Lech Kaczynski, he began rapping the sarcophagus with his umbrella.
"And what do you make of this, Lech?" he challenged, as other visitors quickly made themselves scarce.
Security guards apprehended the man and removed him from the site. However, the reveller's next move was to remove his clothes and gallivant through the cathedral. Owing to the fact that he was slippery due to heavy rainfall, it took some time before he was eventually stopped in his tracks.
After being picked up by the police, the eccentric visitor spent the rest of the day in the infamous drunk tank of the Jozef Dietl hospital.
