Students Take Over Time
The madcap annual shindig that is Juwenalia is almost upon us. Since time immemorial, students have been granted the keys to the city for a short spell in May, and the Mayor himself will be handing over the essentials in a formal ceremony on the square.
For a week, you can expect to see students partying like there's no tomorrow. The biggest day of the lot will be Friday 7th, when scallywags in fancy dress march from the Wisla Stadium to the Rynek. Later in the day, at 4 pm, there'll be a romper-stomper of a concert on the Blonia Common. UK breakbeat meisters Apollo 440 are topping the bill, with backing by legendary Polish punk band Piersi (Tits). Entrance is free and doors open at 3 pm. Enjoy!
