Ten New Links From Cracow Airport
Ten new connections are being launched from Cracow for the summer season, Jan Pamula, president of Krakow Airport, announced on 26th March.
The services link Poland's former royal capital with Barcelona, Alicante, Malaga, Pisa, Rome, Trapani, Oslo, Leeds, Brussels and Malta. Ryanair will be operating the flights.
Spain and Italy are especially popular amongst Poles, and the destinations reflect this. However, flights to New York by LOT airlines will be given a second crack of the whip, likewise Lufthansa is increasing its number of flights to Frankfurt.
The airport is hoping for 3 million passengers in 2010, following 2.7 million in 2009, a slightly wobbly year across Europe.
