Student Attempts World's Longest Lecture

A law student in Krakow is attempting to carry out the world's longest continuous lecture. 130 hours is his goal.

Errol Muzawazi began his epic oration on Wednesday 9th December. He is due to finish at 10 pm on Monday 14th.

The rules are that the lecturer is allowed to take a five minute break for every completed hour of diction. However, if he manages a continuous stint of several hours, he is allowed to take a correspondingly long break.

There was concern on Saturday 12th, when Mr. Muzawazi was compelled to take a 15-minute break, owing to exhaustion. However, he pulled through, and now he only has a matter of hours left to earn his place in the record books.

Mr. Muzawazi, who is from Zimbabwe, is speaking on a wide range of topics, all relating to the development of democracy. He is attempting to raise money for the Pan-African Educational Expedition 2010, a project that aims to develop educational skills in some 24 African countries.
