Make Your Own Gingerbread Men
It seems that at Cracow's Christmas Market, parents get all the fun, what with all the tasty mulled wine which youngsters aren't allowed to enjoy.
That said, this year, sweet-toothed wayfarers have the chance to get messy in the kitchen with one of Poland's best-loved confections.
Since as far back as the Middle Ages, bakers in the picturesque city of Torun have been rustling up gingerbread delights. Such was the fame of these sweet treats, that presents of gingerbread were given to Polish monarchs by the town elders, likewise to Napoleon, who promised to liberate these lands.
Up until Christmas Eve (Wigilia), youngsters can have a crack at making their own gingerbread shapes, as the Galeria Krakowska mall, right by the train station, is hosting daily baking sessions.
If you'd like to join in, search out the Smyk shop on the first floor of the mall, or simply follow your nose...
