At first glance Krakow and Ibiza might not seem to have much in common. Whereas the White Isle is synonymous with drinking mojitos at Cafe Mambo and watching the sunset whilst girls in bikinis flit about the place, Krakow is more well known for huddling in a cellar with a mulled wine whilst girls in hats and scarves wait for the blizzard to pass.
This weekend however Poland's Royal Capital and the Balearic party isle have more in common than you might have thought - a host of DJs who grace the decks in some of Ibiza's most famous clubs are descending on Krakow for one night only. Topping the bill is Spanish wonderboy Miguel Pellitero (Space Ibiza), whilst other stars include Paul Jackson (Pacha Ibiza), Sean Hughes (Amnesia Ibiza), Scott Martin (Cafe Mambo Ibiza), Jamie Gittins (Privilege Ibiza), Greg Kobe, Deeplay and Barillo.
Thankfully the prices for this party will remain distinctly Krakovian, and whereas 50 Euros is standard club entry back in the Balearics punters can sneak into Frantic, the host venue, for just 25 PLN (about 6-7 Euros). Viva Polska!
The party starts at 22:00 on Saturday 17th May.
