Prince Charles and his wife the Duchess of Cornwall are due in Cracow before the end of the month.
The heir to the British throne will be making his third visit to the city. However, on this occasion he will be here as patron of a new Cracovian enterprise.
The Prince will be opening a Jewish Community Centre on Tuesday April 29th. The centre, located in Cracow's historic Jewish district, is sponsored by London based charity World Jewish Relief (WJR). It is estimated that the foundation will cater to about 1000 people, including Jewish students studying in Cracow.
Since the fall of Communism, Jewish cultural life has begun to blossom again in Cracow, and it is hoped that the new centre will help to continue that process.
