Festival of Polish Music Underway

This past weekend, the third annual Festival of Polish Music began with special performances on Sunday and Monday by British violinist Nigel Kennedy, playing pieces by Mieczyslaw Karlowicz and Emil Mlynarski. During the rest of the week, festivalgoers can expect pieces by Zygmunt Noskowski, Karol Szymanowski, Krzysztof Meyer, Pawel Mykietyn, and many other famous Polish composers, as well as special workshops organized by the festival.

The Festival of Polish Music will go on through this Sunday, the 11th of November, and there are still many more exciting performance to catch. You can see a complete schedule, as well as get information about tickets, on the festival's official site.
