Music and language will combine this weekend in a lively one-off event under the patronage of the Mayor of Krakow. The loquacious festival kicks off at 11am this Sunday on the Main Market Square.

Several nations are getting involved in the extravaganza, with the British, French, German, Austrian and Italian Cultural Institutes all hosting events alongside home side the Poles. Fancy a splash of Spanish hip-hop? Or maybe a mix of Italian classics courtesy of distinguished duo Riccardo and Guiseppe? 11.10 Centre for Polish Language & Culture (UJ): Theatrical presentation by foreign students

12.10 British Council: Performance by the group Misty`s Big Adventure

13.10 Goethe Institute: Hip-hop concert by Jima Pansen

14.10 Cervantes Institute: Spanish hip hop crew Kultamy play, followed by Ars Tunae, a folk outfit

15.10 French Institute: French rhythms old and new by Maja Tomaszewska and her group

16.10 Austrian Institute: Valerie & Band do their stuff

17.10 Italian Cultural Institute: Italian classics with Riccardo & Giuseppe
