No, not the cheesy Ben Stiller movie - this night at the museum(s) involves an experience that will actually stimulate your mind! For one night every year for the past four years, the museums of Krakow have opened their doors way past their curators' bedtimes. Visitors then have the opportunity to see the regular exhibits for free or at a significantly reduced price. This year, the magical night will occur on this Friday, May 18th.

Organized mainly by the National Museum in Krakow and its many branches, but with many other museums and art galleries throughout the city participating, the museums will open their doors from 7 pm until 1 am. The event will feature special exhibits just for that night, as well as access to the regular exhibits for just 1 zloty. Finally, a chance to spend a Friday night enriching your brain cells instead of killing them, and saving some money in the process!

Be sure to check out our events calendar to see what other cultural happenings are going on this month!
