Cracow's Month of Photography is now underway, offering image conscious travellers a banquet of stuff to savour. It's one of our favourite events of the year, and first timers can snap up a festival map from the cultural office at ul. sw. Jana 2.
There will be dozens of exhibition openings over the next couple of weeks, accompanied by the usual merriment. And here's a little tip from Cracow Life - everyone is an artist here in Cracow, so if you've just been dumped by your girlfriend, put on your beret and sharpen your Humphrey Bogart one-liners and you may just find the answer to your woes.
The festival is utilising over thirty venues across the city, and even if some of the shows turn out to be unspectacular, quite often the venues themselves provide consolation.
