No alcohol this weekend in Krakow!

Yes, that's right - on Saturday and Sunday of this weekend Krakow will be a dry city, as a gesture of honour to the visiting Pope.

Whereas Pope Benedict XVI is no doubt delighted that the Poles have extended the same honour to him as they did to their own John Paul II, less delighted will be the thousands of party-goers descending on Krakow, hellbent on having a good time but deprived of their alcohol fix.

Fear not fellow imbibers however, as always we at Cracow Life have the solution. Through our network of contacts we are able to supply you with a hotline to what promises to be the best (or should we say 'only') party in town. The clever people at the Beatsoup promotion agency have organised a 'private' party thus finding the loophole in the prohibition ban. By only allowing invited guests into their party they are able to (semi-)legally throw a shindig to end all shindigs.

Simply email them at prohibicja@beatsoup.pl to make sure you are allowed in on the action. The party takes placs on this Saturday 27th May, at the Ministerstwo Club, ulica Szpitalna 1.

DJ Martinez and DJ Cris Mouton will be the men responsible for the eclectic soundtrack - and with vodka redbulls at 10 PLN (less than two quid) a pop, the party is bound to go off with a bang! In fact we've just heard that the number of guests on the list is already in the hundreds and there's a palpable feeling of expectation amongst those in the know!

Alternatively if you want to organise a party trip out of town call our good friend Crazy Mike on +48 500091200. This resourceful fellow can sort out any kind of mayhem at the drop of a hat! Just tell him we sent you!
