Any culture vulture flying into Cracow for a few days will be faced with the same dilemma - what to squeeze in during a short stay?
Although Varsovians and Lvovians used to joke about their smaller sibling during the 1930s (Cracovians themselves describe their city as a village!) little Cracow has more quality museums and churches than many cities five times the size. So which of those fifty museums should top your must see list....?
Well, the good news for this weekend is that Cracow's museums are joining forces on Friday for a delightfully eccentric event. More than 40 museums will be opening their doors for much of the night, which means cultured cats won't have to fret about missing all the goodies.
This is the third 'Night of Museums', and the last ones were great successes. Most of the museums will be laying on added attractions, often with a humourous twist, so you can expect a few surprises.
Things kick off at 7pm, and the majority of the places taking part will keep their doors open until 2. And don't forget, it's free, so you're not going to burn a huge hole in your pocket!
