Polish Captives Carry On Trekking

Many feared the worst when news broke that a group of Polish trekkers had been abducted by Nepalese Maoists earlier this month. Nepal has teetered on the brink of national catastrophe for several years now as the struggle between communist rebels and the monarchist state has ebbed and flowed.

Unruffled by this dicey encounter, the group of four decided to continue their trek - it's not every day that you get the chance to climb the rooftop of the world.
