An Invigorating Dip

The snows and ice were melting as Spring reared its head, and that spelt alarm for a particular Pole with a penchant for swimming - ice swimming that is. But just in the nick of time, this Polish ace carried out a miraculous feat, swimming sixty metres under a sheet of ice. Yes, it's a potty way way to spend your Sunday afternoon, but long live potty Poles.

The new world record was set at Lake Plotki in Western Poland, and the champion is hoping to make it into the Guinness Book of Records next year. A panel of Polish judges watched the aquatic feat, and the video results and other details are now being sent to London.
