Journey To The Interior

New art galleries are as commonplace here as new sausage shops, but the arrival of Turlej has added a fantastic new feather to Cracow's cultural cap. If you haven't dropped by yet, now's a great time, as Turlej has managed to pull off a great coup in landing Slovakian star, Miro Svolik.

'Journey To The Interior' unveils some seventy-two works by the co-founder of the Slovak New Wave. It's the first time that Svolik has exhibited in Poland, despite close ties between the two countries. His quirky style is full of charm, and he dips in and out of the dreamworld with playful panache.

The current show runs until 18th April, by which time we hope that there will be sun galore in Cracow (we can only hope.....). Find the gallery just north of the Main Market Square at, ul. Sw. Jana 2. Head upstairs and there you are!

Turlej Gallery, ul. Sw. Jana 2. Open: Tuesday - Saturday 13-19
