The 10th Architectural Biennale
The 10th International Architectural biennale will kick off tomorrow, ending on 17th October 2004. The Biennale will take place under the heading "Architecture - The Art of the Future" and will concern the state of architecture at the beginning of the twenty-first century, and the place of architecture and art in the city, both in its theoretical and design aspects. The place which will be the pretext for general considerations and design operations is the area where the impingement of Old Cracow is obvious.
Within the framework of the Biennale's two contests for architectonic design there will be an exhibitional forum as well as a photographic contest. Lectures by guest speakers will take place within the framework of the architectonic events, accompanying exhibitions, design seminars and company presentations.
