Pole Evicted From British Big Brother
Polish actress Rula Lenska was given the boot from Britain's Celebrity Big Brother show last night.
Lenska, a Polish Countess whose father once led Radio Free Europe, was the third contestant to bite the dust.
The eccentric actress was obliged to perform a variety of outlandish challenges whilst within the house. When asked to simulate the act of feeding milk to rogue MP George Galloway, the actress found herself embroiled in a political rumpus. The politician was skewered by virtually every MP at Westminster, although perhaps Mr Galloway's metamorphosis into a 'TV star' incensed the statesmen more than his making an absurdity of their job.
Lenska was booted out to a mixed chorus of boos and cheers. However, the varying degrees of humiliation that contestants submit themselves to will no doubt be soothed by the rush of magazine/TV contracts that arise thereafter. But enough of this silly subject - there are surely more relevant things for us to scribble about.
